Well, after my husband and I both had an incredibly rough week at work I was fully expecting a crummy weekend to follow. But, like always the sun came up the next day and I went about getting ready for a photo shoot with 2 little boys. The wind was blowing like mad and I worried about the boys hair being a mess in the pictures. I was so relieved to see two adorable boys exit the car with closely shaved heads....bring on the wind! The photo shoot started off a little rough with the youngest little guy not really sure about me or having his picture taken. Once I let go of my desire to pose him and accepted the fact that he was going to do what he was going to do, we got some great photos! Sometimes the chaotic photos where the background isn't quite what you intended because the subject wasn't interested in sitting where you want, or the pose isn't quite what you had in mind turn out to be the best. I love capturing kids just being kids! When I got home and put those pics on my computer where I could see them I felt so much better and my Saturday was off to a great start! In the evening my hubby and I were debating going out to play golf. We haven't played a full round of golf together in over two years due to the pregnancy and now one year old we have running around. I was verging on saying no to playing simply because I didn't want to leave my littlest one and I thought it was just too windy when the perfectly bright sky just started literally dropping golf balls in my yard. It was a hailstorm that just hit out of nowhere....very strange! I told my husband that after the week we had experienced this was God's way of telling me I was making the wrong decision saying no to a kid free date/golf night with my husband! Once the hail quit we went on that golf/date night and had such a great relaxing evening! Between what turned out to be a great photo session and a peaceful kid free evening, I have forgotten all about the crummy way the week ended! Thank you Diane for sharing your grandkids with me and thanks to mother nature for the crazy message that I needed a date night!
